Who am I

I am a third-year BUT Informatique student specializing in application design, development, and validation, currently working as a web developer apprentice at LDE. My time there, building production features with Vue.js, Django, and PostgreSQL, has taught me what it means to write code that actually ships, and confirmed that I genuinely love the craft of development.

But my real goal lies in game development. I've always been both a player and a coder, and at some point the two naturally merged. What draws me to game dev is the challenge of crafting tight, precise gameplay, the kind where every input feels intentional, where mechanics carry the story, and where a well-designed puzzle can say more than a cutscene. I work mostly with Unity and C# on personal prototypes, exploring these ideas hands-on.

After my BUT, I'm aiming to join a small indie studio as a gameplay developer, or pursue further studies in game development to get there. The web is a solid foundation and a genuine skill I'm building, but game dev is where I want to take it. Outside of code, I draw inspiration from cinema, music, and comics, not only as hobbies separate from my work, but as lenses through which I think about what makes an experience feel cohesive and meaningful.

My Stack

Web

Next.js
Vue.js
React / RN
TypeScript
Tailwind
Django
PostgreSQL

Game Dev

Unity / C#
Godot

Tools

Git
GitLab CI/CD
Android Studio

My stack reflects two complementary paths. On the web side, I work daily with Vue.js, Django and PostgreSQL at my apprenticeship, and use Next.js and TypeScript for personal projects. On the game dev side, Unity (C#) is my main tool for prototyping gameplay mechanics, with Godot as an occasional alternative for smaller experiments. Java and Android Studio round out my academic background from the BUT.

My Journey

  1. 2025 - 2026

    Apprenticeship - LDE

Junior web developer apprentice building and shipping production features with Vue.js, Django, and PostgreSQL. Working within an agile team taught me what it really means to write code that others depend on, readable, tested, and maintainable.

  2. Apr - Jul 2025

    Internship - Pouey International

Worked on the company's internal CRM using Java Servlets and XML. A deliberate step outside my comfort zone that strengthened my ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and legacy stacks.

  3. 2023 - 2026

BUT Informatique - IUT Robert Schuman, Strasbourg

Three-year university programme covering software development (C, C++, C#, Java, React, React Native, Android Studio), testing, and collaborative project work. It's here that I discovered Unity and C#, which sparked my interest in game development and shaped the direction I want to take professionally.
